Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk will assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role requires proficiency in ERP software and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports in the ERP system
  • Prepare and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
  • Reconcile AP and AR accounts regularly
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and reporting

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
